Installation Process
With Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE, no assembly is required. Every part of the box can be easily detached and put back in its place in mere seconds.
Scooping Proces
The litter provided with Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE does not clump. It dehydrates the solid waste and sticks to it, which makes the scooping process much easier and quicker. Simply collect the waste with the provided scoop once a day and leave the free pellets inside. You can also shake the scoop after collection to free up some additional pellets and reuse them.
Noise Level
The pellets provided with Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE are pretty hard, so they may make some noise if the cat is overly energetic and starts kicking them around. It is, therefore, not recommended to keep the system in the bedroom.
Durability
Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE is made of durable, corner- and crevice-free materials. The box sports a pretty simple design without any parts that could be easily broken or damaged in any other way.
Odor Control
The moisture pads that come with Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE provide excellent odor control, as long as they are not overfilled. The pellets, on the other hand, might prevent your cat from covering his or her poop completely, which can lead to some odor emission.
Recommended For
Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE is ideal for smaller and medium cats. Its entryway is positioned quite high, so it is not a perfect fit for old, sick or disabled cats.
Suitable For Multiple Cats
Litter Compatibility
It is recommended to use the company's proprietary litter options with Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Training Considerations
Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE does not require any special training. Simply start mixing the provided litter with the litter you are currently using and put the Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE litter box next to the old one. This should help ease the transition to the new litter and box.
Safety Considerations
Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE does not feature any electrical components, the surfaces are smooth, and there are no protruding elements, which makes it perfectly safe for your pet.

Litter Robot
Type
Automatic, Self-Cleaning Litter Box
Design
Litter Robot is a large, bisque-colored, innovatively designed litter box the size of a nightstand. It is made up of a base with a removable waste drawer, an ergonomically designed globular litter chamber with a large entryway, and a detachable protective bonnet over the litter chamber. In front of the chamber is a small, removable rubber step mat. Inside the chamber is a LED nightlight and on the front side of the base is a handy control panel with 4 vertically aligned buttons and 3 horizontally aligned indicator lights.
Dimensions
Litter Robot weighs 24 pounds and is roughly the size of a nightstand. Its exact dimensions are:
  • Fully Assembled Unit: 29.5″ x 24.25″ x 27” (HWD);
  • Entryway: 16″ x 10.25″ (HW);
  • Inner Globe Dimensions: 15″-17″ (dependent on litter amount) x 20″ x 20″ (HWD);
  • Litter Bed: 14″ maximum width;
  • Waste Drawer: 16” x 12.5” x 5” (HWD).
Installation Process
Litter Robot comes fully assembled, so you only have to plug the adapter into an outlet, add the litter, place a liner into the drawer, and push the power button.
Scooping Proces
With Litter Robot, there is no scooping. You simply need to empty the waste drawer when it is full.
Noise Level
Litter Robot emits a low humming noise during the 2.5-minute self-cleaning cycle. It is surprisingly quiet and not likely to alert cats who are not unusually sensitive to noise. If you keep the unit in your bedroom, you can use the sleep mode to prevent the device from starting the cleaning cycle for 8 hours, thus making sure it emits no noise while you are asleep.
Durability
Litter Robot is made of industrial-grade components, sturdy recyclable plastics, and heavy-duty rubber. It features a solid construction and it is built to last for many years.
Odor Control
With Litter Robot, odors are significantly reduced. The waste drawer is equipped with a large carbon filter that prevents most of the odor from escaping the drawer. The filter also prevents mold growth.
Recommended For
Litter Robot is best suited for naturally curious, non-diabetic cats weighing 5+ pounds
Suitable For Multiple Cats
Litter Compatibility
Litter Robot exclusively uses clumping litter, preferably high-quality clay clumping litter. You should not use absorbent-only, non-clumping, loose-clumping, newspaper-based litter or wood-based pellets. The litter recommended by the manufacturer is Litterbox.com All Natural Clumping Litter.
Recommended Liners
Litter Robot does not require special liners. You can use any 8-13 gallon trash bag or liner. However, if you are looking for the safest choice, the company does offer affordable, custom-fitted, biodegradable liners specially designed for Litter Robot.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Litter Robot is a low-maintenance litter box. You can clean the device every month or year, as needed. The globe is free from electrical elements, so you can freely wash it with plenty of water and mild soap and detergent. The same goes for the waste drawer. The base and the bonnet contain electrical components. Thus, you should just wipe them with a clean cloth, with no excess moisture. If you have 1 cat, you need to empty the waste drawer every 7-10 days.
Training Considerations
Litter Robot is an unusual litter box, so your cat may need help getting used to it. You should place it in the same spot as the old litter box. Pouring a handful of used litter into the globe may help your cat get used to it due to the familiar scent. Spraying some catnip or leaving treats inside or in front of the globe can be helpful as well. You should keep the device switched off during the first couple of days and stop cleaning the old litter box to make it less attractive. When your cat starts using Litter Robot, start the cleaning cycle manually with your cat in the room, so you can provide reassurance as he or she gets used to the humming noise and rotation of the globe.
Safety Considerations
Litter Robot is made with safety in mind. There are no rakes, wires or other potentially harmful elements and there are no shock hazards, as all electrical components are carefully concealed and away from your cat’s reach. If your cat jumps into the globe during the cleaning cycle, the globe will stop rotating immediately, as long as your cat weighs 5+ pounds, which is the cat sensor’s sensitivity threshold. If your cat weighs fewer than 5 pounds, it is a good idea to keep the device switched off and start the cleaning cycles manually.

$449 with free shipping within the continental US

    I bought our litter box system more than a year ago. Our cats took to it perfectly. We liked this system because the traditional clay based litter produced a dust that my husband hated and I hated finding grey pieces all over my floors. But now what I hate is the odor. The pee that slips through into the pad - there can be a little residual that land in between. Once a month when I exchange the pellets I wash the whole system down. If I don’t our house stinks. When we used clay based litter I just switched out the liners.

    We’ve been looking for a simple litter box with higher railing that would be accessible to our cat with disability and breeze fits the bill perfectly. One side of the fence is much lower which allows our little guy to slide in and out without any major problems.

    I’ve bought so many mats and special anti-tracking carpets and all I really needed was a litter box with higher walls. Even though our girls are pretty frisky at times, they still never manage to kick any litter on the floor and the box even comes with a special little tray for them to brush off their paws. I can’t say they’re using it all that often though. All in all, great litter box for just over 30 bucks.

    I have 5 cats and a full-time job, which leaves me with very little time to waste. Breeze litter box is a true lifesaver since it makes it so easy to scoop everything up in just a couple of minutes. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me and my kitty witties.

    Great litter box (if you can even call it a box) that helps us save a ton of time on cleaning and maintenance. On the other hand, our bank account definitely felt it.

    I was afraid this thing would be much louder than it actually is. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll hear it when it starts rotating but it’s not even close to what I expected and it’s not even that unpleasant of a sound to be honest.

    Come on, people, it's ridiculous to spend this kind of money on a litter box. My friend bought it and he's all psyched about it, and yeah, I've seen it work, it's great and stuff, but I'd never pay that much for something that basically just collects poop.

    I agree, worth every buck I spent on it. Yes, it's expensive, but you can't expect something like this to cost less, I'm just amazed someone was smart enough to invent it, it's the best litter box I've seen in my life.
