Nature's Miracle
Type
Self-Cleaning Litter Box
Design
Nature’s Miracle litter box is a veritable spaceship for cats. Its modern and attractive design will go well with any type of environment you decide to place it in. It might seem a bit intimidating at first due to its numerous components, but it is much easier to use than it appears. It only comes in mono black, which gives it an added degree of elegance.
Dimensions
Nature's Miracle is designed for smaller and medium cats. It measures:
  • 28.1" in length
  • 17.6" in width
  • 10.1" in height

The litter tray measures 14" x 14"

Installation Process
Nature's Miracle is easy to set up. All you have to do is prepare and insert the waste receptacle, fill it out with litter, and attach the paw-cleaning ramp. You can also set the clock and program the sleep timer at some point, but the box will function perfectly fine even withouth these settings.
Scooping Proces
Nature’s Miracle is a self-cleaning litter box. Having said that, you will still have to scoop the smaller litter clumps manually.
Noise Level
Nature’s Miracle features a motor, which moves the rake during the automatic cleaning cycle, so it will produce some noise. You should not put it in your bedroom if you are a light sleeper.
Durability
Nature’s Miracle is made of pet-friendly materials and it does not feature a lot of delicate parts in spite of its complex construction. If properly maintained, it can last for years without any mechanical or electrical problems.
Odor Control
Nature’s Miracle sports a 3-in-1 odor control system featuring a tightly closed waste receptacle with a replaceable carbon filter that acts as a sponge for unpleasant odors.
Recommended For
Nature’s Miracle is designed for smaller and medium cats.
Suitable For Multiple Cats
Litter Compatibility
Nature’s Miracle can work with pretty much any hard clumping litter, but the company recommends using its proprietary brands.
Recommended Liners
Nature’s Miracle does not require the use of liners.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Nature’s Miracle requires weekly cleaning and you should also clean it thoroughly once a month. All the components can be cleaned with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use any abrasive or overly aggressive cleaning chemicals or scouring pads. All the removable components (apart from the top housing) can be immersed in water. The litter tray should also be cleaned only once per month, not every time you refill it with litter.
Training Considerations
Your cat might be timid around Nature’s Miracle litter box at first, so you may want to consider introducing it into his or her environment without removing the old box. You can also turn auto-cleaning off until your cat is better adjusted to the sound/action. Stop cleaning your old litter box and allow your cat to make the switch gradually.
Safety Considerations
Nature’s Miracle is perfectly safe for your pets thanks to its motion-activated sensors on both sides of the litter tray. If the sensors have picked up movement in the last 10 seconds, the auto-cleaning cycle will not activate. Additionally, if the automatic rake detects an obstacle during the cycle, it will immediately switch directions.

Litter Robot
Type
Automatic, Self-Cleaning Litter Box
Design
Litter Robot is a large, bisque-colored, innovatively designed litter box the size of a nightstand. It is made up of a base with a removable waste drawer, an ergonomically designed globular litter chamber with a large entryway, and a detachable protective bonnet over the litter chamber. In front of the chamber is a small, removable rubber step mat. Inside the chamber is a LED nightlight and on the front side of the base is a handy control panel with 4 vertically aligned buttons and 3 horizontally aligned indicator lights.
Dimensions
Litter Robot weighs 24 pounds and is roughly the size of a nightstand. Its exact dimensions are:
  • Fully Assembled Unit: 29.5″ x 24.25″ x 27” (HWD);
  • Entryway: 16″ x 10.25″ (HW);
  • Inner Globe Dimensions: 15″-17″ (dependent on litter amount) x 20″ x 20″ (HWD);
  • Litter Bed: 14″ maximum width;
  • Waste Drawer: 16” x 12.5” x 5” (HWD).
Installation Process
Litter Robot comes fully assembled, so you only have to plug the adapter into an outlet, add the litter, place a liner into the drawer, and push the power button.
Scooping Proces
With Litter Robot, there is no scooping. You simply need to empty the waste drawer when it is full.
Noise Level
Litter Robot emits a low humming noise during the 2.5-minute self-cleaning cycle. It is surprisingly quiet and not likely to alert cats who are not unusually sensitive to noise. If you keep the unit in your bedroom, you can use the sleep mode to prevent the device from starting the cleaning cycle for 8 hours, thus making sure it emits no noise while you are asleep.
Durability
Litter Robot is made of industrial-grade components, sturdy recyclable plastics, and heavy-duty rubber. It features a solid construction and it is built to last for many years.
Odor Control
With Litter Robot, odors are significantly reduced. The waste drawer is equipped with a large carbon filter that prevents most of the odor from escaping the drawer. The filter also prevents mold growth.
Recommended For
Litter Robot is best suited for naturally curious, non-diabetic cats weighing 5+ pounds
Suitable For Multiple Cats
Litter Compatibility
Litter Robot exclusively uses clumping litter, preferably high-quality clay clumping litter. You should not use absorbent-only, non-clumping, loose-clumping, newspaper-based litter or wood-based pellets. The litter recommended by the manufacturer is Litterbox.com All Natural Clumping Litter.
Recommended Liners
Litter Robot does not require special liners. You can use any 8-13 gallon trash bag or liner. However, if you are looking for the safest choice, the company does offer affordable, custom-fitted, biodegradable liners specially designed for Litter Robot.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Litter Robot is a low-maintenance litter box. You can clean the device every month or year, as needed. The globe is free from electrical elements, so you can freely wash it with plenty of water and mild soap and detergent. The same goes for the waste drawer. The base and the bonnet contain electrical components. Thus, you should just wipe them with a clean cloth, with no excess moisture. If you have 1 cat, you need to empty the waste drawer every 7-10 days.
Training Considerations
Litter Robot is an unusual litter box, so your cat may need help getting used to it. You should place it in the same spot as the old litter box. Pouring a handful of used litter into the globe may help your cat get used to it due to the familiar scent. Spraying some catnip or leaving treats inside or in front of the globe can be helpful as well. You should keep the device switched off during the first couple of days and stop cleaning the old litter box to make it less attractive. When your cat starts using Litter Robot, start the cleaning cycle manually with your cat in the room, so you can provide reassurance as he or she gets used to the humming noise and rotation of the globe.
Safety Considerations
Litter Robot is made with safety in mind. There are no rakes, wires or other potentially harmful elements and there are no shock hazards, as all electrical components are carefully concealed and away from your cat’s reach. If your cat jumps into the globe during the cleaning cycle, the globe will stop rotating immediately, as long as your cat weighs 5+ pounds, which is the cat sensor’s sensitivity threshold. If your cat weighs fewer than 5 pounds, it is a good idea to keep the device switched off and start the cleaning cycles manually.

    It gets the job done, cleans itself and it even comes with a little mat for cats to brush their paws instead of spreading litter all over the house. I experimented with a few different types of litter and found the sweet spot that prevent s odors and keeps our pets comfortable. In spite of all this, I still think the price is a bit too high.

    It’s amazing when it works. However, the little rake keeps on jamming and getting blocked, I’m not sure am I doing something wrong here, is there too much litter inside or what?

    Well, I did have unrealistic expectations here, but still... Nature’s miracle box still makes some noise, so it’s not good to put it anywhere near your bedroom or rest area. Additionally there’s also some litter around it at all times, but still way less than with my previous choice.

    Excellent little device! My cats just love and it didn’t take them much to make a complete switch.

    Great litter box (if you can even call it a box) that helps us save a ton of time on cleaning and maintenance. On the other hand, our bank account definitely felt it.

    I was afraid this thing would be much louder than it actually is. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll hear it when it starts rotating but it’s not even close to what I expected and it’s not even that unpleasant of a sound to be honest.

    Come on, people, it's ridiculous to spend this kind of money on a litter box. My friend bought it and he's all psyched about it, and yeah, I've seen it work, it's great and stuff, but I'd never pay that much for something that basically just collects poop.
  • Submitted By Georgia Fay on 04/24/2018
    I agree, worth every buck I spent on it. Yes, it's expensive, but you can't expect something like this to cost less, I'm just amazed someone was smart enough to invent it, it's the best litter box I've seen in my life.
